Another fabulous birthday cake from Duke Bakery! Thank you for making our bday boy’s day with the delicious Simpsons cake that you made for him. He loved it and it completed his day during this crazy time. Also, thank you for being so kind to our community in this uncertain time for everyone. Duke Bakery is a good example to others of what “being kind” looks like.

I have to say, what a great experience. I am not quite sure who
spoke with on the phone, but she was absolutely the sweetest. I appreciated her help on ordering a cake. We had to reschedule our formal wedding due to COVID, but I still wanted a small cake to celebrate with my soon-to-be husband. They were able to recommend sizes, and dealt with my difficulty of "surprise me with fall" for my design. I'm looking forward to a lovely experience, thank you Duke Bakery for making one thing stress-free about this day!

My kids wanted a shark theme for their birthdays this year. The only place I found that said they could make that happen, was Duke Bakery and they did a FABULOUS job. The design of the shark was exactly what I was looking for. Their cake selection to choose from was amazing! Instead of boring ol' chocolate and white cupcakes, we had chocolate, strawberry, cherry, red velvet, and yellow. All of them tasted great! Thanks Duke Bakery!

When we are in Alton for boat season we discovered their bread and desserts are the best! Yesterday was my husbands birthday and panicking I ran by their bakery and they had his favorite, carrot cake. It was delicious, tasted like a homemade, and I had a happy husband! Their staff is always cheerful and happy and make the trip to Duke Bakery always a pleasant one!

Been going here for almost 40 years. Won't go anywhere else.
You haven't lived until you get your cakes made by them as they go out of their way to make you happy. They even make doggy treats now. And you definitely haven't tasted true yum until you have had their donut holes. Absolute heaven. THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST.
